So, the return of Ricciardo. Reckon he'll be doing a Alonso and outperforming his car and team-mate, or is this the end?

Honestly, I really hope he performs really well. But, this car (Alpha Tauri) has not being great lately. I was kind of surprised when he accepted to drive that car.

Suppose it shows he's still eager to be on grid, and his performance will be measured almost exclusively to how he performs compared to Tsunoda, both these Tauri drivers seem to have an eye on Checo's seat in the near future.. certainly a sub plot worth keeping an eye on.

Having the extremely vocal Ricciardo gunning for your seat night be the catalyst Perez needs, though judging by the crash in practice, is he wilting under the pressure?
